Inside Sales Representative

Salary Range: 55-75k

AA Duckett is looking to add additional support to our existing purchasing department. We are looking for a hardworking candidate who wants to apply their industry experience to this fast-paced role working along side account managers and purchasing teams.

This role will specifically support the Mechanical Services line of business. Mechanical Service includes installation of commercial HVAC units; proactive maintenance of HVAC, boilers, and chillers; service repairs to HVAC, boilers, and chillers; and mechanical construction projects.

Responsibilities

·           Proposal Lifecycle

·         Receive information from our field technicians and use the information to create repair and installation proposals for customers.

·         Follow up and track proposals to ensure acceptance from customers.

·         Coordinate with the dispatch team to schedule the work to be completed for customers.

·           Sourcing and Procurement

·         Locate parts, material, and equipment from our vendors to meet project needs.

·         Track deliveries and update customer with status.

·         Build relationships with vendors for locating parts quickly and ensure best pricing.

·         Both issue and also receive purchase orders.

·         Communicate with Warehouse Manager on scheduled delivery of parts and also confirm the parts in each shipment were successfully received.

·           General Responsibilities

·         Manage a high volume of phone calls and emails to coordinate work across departments, customers, and vendors

·         Communicate roadblocks to appropriate stakeholders to ensure operations do not miss deadlines

Required Skills  

·           Some knowledge of Mechanical Services, HVAC and/or Plumbing industry

·           Prior experience in account management or purchasing

·           Strong verbal and written communication skills

·           Excels in building relationships

·           Proven success in collaborating across departments to meet business objectives

·           The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

Preferred Skills 

·           Candidates with strong skills in these programs are greatly valued: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel

·           Previous experience working in Microsoft Great Plains (aka Microsoft GP and Microsoft Dynamics)

Physical Requirements

• Regularly requires a high degree of mental effort, talk and hear, gross and fine manipulation, read both print and screens for extended periods of time.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. 
• Frequently required to walk and sit 
• Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, lift 25 lbs. max, stand and stoop, kneel, or crouch, and climb stairs  
• Expected to work in a moderately loud level of volume environment.
